I want to share this amazing recipe for cashew gravy that I slightly modified from one I found on VegWeb.com.
- 2 cups water
- 1/2 cup raw cashews
- 2 Tablespoons tamari
- 1 Tablespoon cornstarch
- onion powder, garlic powder, and/or nutritional yeast to taste
Blend all ingredients together in blender and then heat in pot on stove over medium heat, stirring frequently until sauce thickens.
It is perfect over a bowl of quinoa and veggies.
